Singing Bird acupuncturist and herbalist, Andrea P. Fisk, is an in-network or preferred provider within a majority of Oregon health insurance plans whose coverage includes acupuncture and Chinese medicine. We are also able to bill insurance related to motor vehicle accident claims.

You can pay for acupuncture with pre-tax dollars if your employer administers a flexible spending account on your behalf or if you utilize a health savings account. Even without the advantages of the above accounts, some individuals may qualify to reduce their income tax by deducting acupuncture expenses on their federal tax return. Federal law allows acupuncture as a deductible medical expense when treatment is directed at a specific medical problem.
